First Blog Post.. EVER!

Well, I guess the title pretty much explains itself. (Bare with me.. I am new to this.)
Let me just start off with a little about how the Johnson family got started.

Johnny and I met the summer before I started high school through mutual friends. I know I know everyone says this.. but it WAS true love at first sight. We dated throughout high school and after we both graduated we moved in together starting college. BIG mistake! Both Johnny and I dropped out of college. Neither off us were happy with the road we were heading on so we thought it would be best to move back in with our parents. About 3 years past and we started the jobs we have now. Johnny is a woodworker at Woodcraft Ind. and I work as a Dispatch/ Office Associate at a local nonprofit organization named "Community Action of Southern Kentucky". In February of 2013 we found a home and settled in and enjoyed our time together. At the time we had our "first" fur-baby "Roxy", she is a Yorkie/Poodle mix and spoiled rotten. In July of 2013 be found out we were expecting our first baby. Johnny and I then planned our wedding and got married on October 19, 2013.. we just recently celebrated our 1 year anniversary.
Miss Amy Jo made her arrival on February 20, 2014 and my whole turned upside down. (: She has been the best thing to happen to us thus far and I couldn't picture our lives without her.

Our lives are pretty filled with excitement at the moment now that she has been mobile for going on three months.
We spend a lot of our time with each other and family and have made the recent decision to join a Church. I cannot wait to be present in a Church and just want that feel of being close to God, being apart of a close knit community and I think it's the best time to start Amy with interactions with other kids and get a heads up on teaching her how to be faithful and give her the lead ways down the right path.

I hope you enjoy my blog as much as I am going to enjoy doing it. (:

This is Johnny, Amy and I a couple weeks ago at the Pumpkin Patch.
Amy loving her pumpkins would be an understatement.
